Alice Berry


Alice trained at The Centre Performing Arts College under the guidance of Miss Karen King and other inspiring mentors. During her time at college, Alice had the opportunity to train with industry professionals, including Carrie-Anne Ingrouille, choreographer of *SIX the Musical*, and Freya Sands, Associate Choreographer of *SIX*. A highlight of her college experience was being selected to assist in choreographing the “Move It Runway” dance piece in 2020, working closely with Emma Harris who trained and performed with The Royal Ballet as well as completing a very successful West End career. These experiences shaped Alice’s skills and gave her a strong foundation in both performance and choreography. 


After graduating in 2020, Alice pursued a career in performing, spending three years working in holiday resorts. She enjoyed being part of the entertainment teams and took on the role of Dance Captain for two seasons at Beverley Holidays. There, she collaborated with Bass Beatz Productions to bring vibrant and high-energy shows to the park’s guests. Alice cherished the experience of performing regularly and leading her team, which helped her grow both as a dancer and a leader. 


Currently, Alice is completing her Diploma in Dance Education through ISTD, further expanding her knowledge and skills in dance teaching.


After taking a short break, Alice is thrilled to start teaching at Redhurst and can not wait to pass on her knowledge and passion onto the students! Alice is extremely passionate and dedicated to helping her students grow as both dancers and individuals, ensuring that each class is a positive and inspiring experience for everyone involved! 


Alice looks forward to embarking on this new chapter with you all!

New Modern Class

We are starting a new Modern class after Easter!!!

Venue: Scout Hall, Moat Road, East Grinstead
Day: Wednesdays
Time: 3.45-4.15pm

Aimed at beginners this is a popular energetic dance style, full of fun.
Older children can join our Grade 2, Grade 3, Intermediate or Senior levels.

Students can progress to Vocational/Student level. Our students study the ISTD Modern Theatre Dance syllabi which is designed to develop a range of movements, flexibility, musical styles and most of all, confidence and a sense of performance.

All our classes are taught by fully qualified dance teachers.

We have some new classes beginning!!!

Pre-School Ballet: Children 3+ years, Mondays 3.30pm

As all our current pre-schoolers shall be moving up and working on the Pre-Primary curriculum, we are looking to start a new class for children in the year before they go to school. The Pre-School ballet is for our youngest dancers and these fun classes encourage the children’s use of imagination and musicality as well as developing through simple
exercises co-ordination, poise and confidence before moving to more structured dance training.

Young Performers: Children 8+ years, Fridays 5.00pm

This is a new slant on our Musical Theatre Class, children will learn scripts, songs and
dances. It is a class for building confidence and performance technique.

Adult Tap: Adults, Fridays 7.15pm

We are constantly being asked to put on an adult tap class and we
finally have the timetable space for it!
Beginners and experienced Tappers welcome……

All England Dance Finalists!

So proud of our wonderful students! Qualifying for the All England Dance Finals held today in Stevenage.

As one of the top 24 Modern Dance Troupes in the country, they danced today amongst the very cream of the crop!

Their number, choreographed by Miss Jodie was called ‘Found’ taken from the musical Dear Evan Hansen recently closed the first act of our recent show Braver than you Believe. I am sure those who saw the show would agree what a fabulous number it was.

Well done Georgia, Ellie, Daisy, Alicia, Erin, Izzy, Jessica, Sophie, Sophia, Ellie, Darcie, Elodie, Paige and Evie.

We are so very very proud.

2. All uniform to be clean, please change on arrival. No vests, pants or over garments to be worn. No jewellery is to be worn under any circumstances!

3. All candidates should bring hair elastics, hair pins, hair grips, hair nets (with elastic edges), hairbrush, comb and lacquer. Someone will be there to do hair if the candidate arrives in plenty of time.
