‘After dancing at Redhurst for 15 years, I knew I had to continue dancing when I went to university.
I started studying English Language at Cardiff University in September 2014. Shortly after I joined Cardiff’s contemporary dance society, Expression.
I have thoroughly enjoyed dancing with Expression and have competed in several competitions across the UK with the society. I was lucky enough to continue dancing alongside close friend and former Redhurst dancer Olivia Stitson. Olivia and I choreographed a dance in our first year for the annual Varsity competition against Swansea, where our dance came 1st in the Advanced Contemporary category, as well as winning overall best choreography for the entire competition! We choreographed for Varisty again last year and were extremely pleased that our dance again won the Advanced Contemporary category.

I am now in my final year of university and am on the committee for Expression, in the role of choreographer. I have thoroughly enjoyed my time as choreographer and have loved creating dynamic and exciting pieces to teach in class.
Redhurst was a great foundation and my time at Redhurst sparked my love and passion for dance.’
