Kristina brings a wealth of experience, dedication, and passion for dance and performance to Redhurst Schools of Dancing. With a career shaped by years of commitment to the performing arts, she has a deep understanding of both the technical and creative aspects of dance education.
Kristinaโs love of performance began at the age of five when she entered her first dance festival. Growing up immersed in the festival world, she gained invaluable experience both on stage and behind the scenes, developing a strong appreciation for performance, confidence, and the discipline required to succeed. Her early opportunities led to professional work as a child performer, giving her first-hand insight into the dedication, resilience, and joy that comes with a life in the arts.
She went on to train at the prestigious Urdang Academy, where she further developed her skills and versatility across a wide range of dance styles. Kristina holds a Fellowship qualification with the ISTD, demonstrating her commitment to excellence in dance training and her extensive knowledge of both syllabus work and performance preparation.
As Joint Principal of Redhurst Schools of Dancing, Kristina is passionate about creating an inspiring and supportive environment where every student can develop confidence, creativity, and a genuine love of dance. She specialises in teaching ballet, modern, tap, and musical theatre, with a teaching approach that combines encouragement, discipline, and a focus on helping each dancer reach their full potential.
Kristina is also the Principal of Act One Beginners, where she continues to nurture young performers from their very first steps into dance. Her students have achieved outstanding success, including performing in multiple West End productions, as well as gaining excellent results in ISTD and LAMDA examinations.
A strong advocate for the benefits of festivals and competitions, Kristina believes these experiences help young dancers build confidence, resilience, and invaluable performance skills. As a member of the British Federation of Adjudicators, she is committed to supporting and inspiring the next generation of dancers and performers.
