Redhurst Schools of Dancing provides high-quality dance training for ages 2–18, combining over 40 years of experience with supportive teaching in ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary, musical theatre, acro, and more. Our Story
A School Built on Care and Excellence
For more than four decades, set up by our founder Kay Ball, Redhurst Schools of Dancing has helped children and teenagers develop strong technique, musicality, and stage confidence through structured, high-quality training.
From pre-school ballet for ages 2–4 through to classes for students in reception to year 13, the school combines professional standards with a student-centred approach that supports each dancer at every stage of their journey.

Students are taught in a supportive environment where progress is taken seriously and individual development matters. Classes are designed to build discipline, confidence, and enjoyment while helping each child feel encouraged and capable.
Redhurst is proud to be registered with the ISTD, with students supported through regular classes, performances, and exams. Alongside biannual shows and festival opportunities, this gives dancers meaningful ways to grow both technically and artistically.
